abnormal sonographic anatomy. Prerequisites: Currently employed in
health care setting. Course Notes: ICE212 may be repeated for

Define and explain specific concepts in diagnostic
ultrasound, including physical principles, instrumentation, quality control,
output measurements, and biological effects. (I, II, III, IV, V) |

the normal abdomen, pelvis, small parts, obstetric and gynecological
(OB-GYN), and cardiovascular system. (VI, VII, VIII, IX) |

Identify and explain abnormal sonographic
findings in the abdomen, pelvis, small parts, obstetric and gynecological
(OB- GYN ) and cardiovascular system. (VI, VII, VIII, IX) |

Interpret ultrasound cases to include, patient
preparation, positioning, scan quality, and hemodynamics.
