Fundamentals of laboratory testing in a clinical setting. Includes
procedures for urinalysis, whole blood chemistry testing, and coagulation
testing. Specimen collection and handling. Compliance with Occupational
Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and The Clinical Laboratory
Improvement Amendments (CLIA) Regulations.
Prerequisites: (HCC101, HCC103, HCC105, HCC107, and HCC109), or permission of program coordinator. Corequisites: HCC140. | |||
