1. Demonstrate room and equipment set-up for ultrasound labs. (I)
2. Describe and demonstrate the correct equipment parameters for an abdominal ultrasound examination. (II)
3. Describe and demonstrate the proper annotation for the abdominal ultrasound examination. (III)
4. Describe and demonstrate scanning protocols in abdomen, pelvis, and small parts. (IV)
5. Demonstrate the use of American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (A.I.U.M.) and Radiation Measurement, Inc. (R.M.I.) phantoms for Quality Control and Equipment Calibration. (V)
6. Demonstrate appropriate preventive maintenance for the ultrasound machine including filters, cameras, transducers. (VI)
