include the use of imaging and counting equipment, related
instrumentation, and radiopharmaceutical injection. (I)

Assist the radiopharmacist with the preparation of
radiopharmaceuticals to include milking generators, kit preparation,
particle sizing, chromatography/separation techniques, biological
controls, and labeling. (II)

Under strict supervision, perform specific quality control procedures.

Describe the need for and provide proper patient care techniques to
include patient observation, safety, and comfort, charts,
transportation, sterile asepsis, isolation techniques, and
immobilization techniques. (IV)

Use standard radiation protection techniques to include handling
radioactive materials, wearing film badges, proper waste disposal and
decontamination. (V)
|
6.
|
Demonstrate appropriate ethical, legal, and professional job- related
behavior. (VI)

7.
|
Communicate appropriately with patients, physicians, and other members
of the health care team. (VII)
|
8.
|
Comply with safety guidelines established by the appropriate federal,
state and other regulatory agencies. (VIII)
