English As A Second Language II
First module of the second level of English as a Second Language (ESL). Continued emphasis on conversational skills, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and grammar with some reading and sentence-to-paragraph-level writing. Credit (P) or no credit (Z). Standard grading available according to procedures outlined in catalog. May be repeated for a maximum of two (2) credits. Prerequisites: Appropriate ESL placement test score, or grade of "P" or "C" or better in ENG009, or (ENG009AA, ENG009AB, and ENG009AC).
