Architectural Office Practicum
Practice of skills required to produce an architectural project, under the guidance of an architect or engineer. Presentation of the final product to a jury of professionals. Prerequisites: Student must be enrolled in the final semester of the Associate of Applied Science Architecture program.

1. Determine applicable code restrictions and requirements for planned residential and commercial structures. (I)
2. Determine restrictions imposed upon structure by the characteristics of the property. (I)
3. Develop an acceptable solution for the design of a residential or commercial structure to fit an assigned set of parameters. (II)
4. Select construction materials that are acceptable for the solution and fit within a budget. (II)
5. Estimate the costs of building a structure. (II)
6. Develop an integrated set of working documents using AutoCad. (III)
7. Prepare and present the final project to a panel of judges for critique. (III)
