Analyze the audience and purpose for a variety of writing situations. (I)

Write clear and focused topic sentences for a variety of writing situations. (I)

Demonstrate ability to support each topic sentence with specific evidence that describes, exemplifies, classifies, outlines a process and shows cause and effect. (I)

Use various types of specific supporting details. (II)

5.

Write and revise five paragraphs that demonstrate the ability to organize by description, exemplification process development, classification and cause/effect. (II, III)

6.

Revise the paragraphs to correct errors in sentence construction. (III)
