1. | Consult with faculty coordinator to determine a placement appropriate to career goals. |
2. | Apply early childhood development principles to work experience in the assigned program. |
3. | Communicate and interact effectively with young children, family members, and program personnel as appropriate. |
4. | Record and share a reflective journal of experiences and learning in the program on a regular basis with the faculty coordinator. |
5. | Demonstrate an increased awareness of differences in program types and goals serving young children and their families. |
6. | Prepare and submit a resume of work experience relevant to seeking employment in early childhood education. |
