Fabrication Techniques
Acquaints the student with electronic fabrication skills. Practice with hand and machine tool operations applied to electrical and mechanical fabrication techniques of chassis preparation, assembly and wiring. Experiences with soldering, drafting, sheet metal, wire wrapping, welding, printed circuit board fabrication and other related areas. Prerequisites: None.

2. Draw, as per industry standards, electronics symbols, schematics, and electromechanical layouts. (II)
3. Apply electronics fabrication techniques including soldering, desoldering, wire wrapping, printed circuit board etching, and various assembly techniques. (III)
4. Trace schematics accurately as to circuit flow, interpret purpose, and apply troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques. (IV)
