1. Demonstrate social and behavioral skills appropriate to a professional setting. (I)
2. Utilize interpersonal skills to obtain patient information and provide reassurance. (II)
3. Demonstrate a professional commitment to the medical ethic with particular regard to patient confidentiality. (III)
4. Obtain and record vital signs and physical parameters as required. (IV)
5. Position, transport, and provide assistance with ambulatory devices for the patient. (V)
6. Apply proper techniques of assisting with feeding, bed baths, and applications of thermal therapy. (VI)
7. Perform routine dip-stick urinalysis using standardized materials. (VII)
8. Perform a standard EKG and prepare the data for review by the medical practitioner. (VIII)
9. Perform glucose point-of-care testing using semi-automated equipment. (IX)
10. Calibrate, prepare, and maintain equipment according to standard facility protocol. (X)
11. Establish working rapport with patients, peers, and supervisor. (XI)
