Fitness and Conditioning for Firefighters
Overview of physical fitness and conditioning requirements for currentand prospective firefighters, including hands-on conditioning techniques. Major components include fitness and workout techniques as applied to performance of specific simulated firefighting tasks; individual conditioning strategies, nutritional guidelines, and basic exercise principles. Culminates in the specific physical performance evaluation. Prerequisites: None.
