English as a Second Language II
Second level of English as a Second Language (ESL). Continued emphasis on conversational skills, pronunciation, vocabulary building and grammar with some reading and sentence level writing. Credit (P) or no credit (Z). Standard grading available according to procedures outlined in catalog. May be repeated for a maximum of six (6) credits. Prerequisites: Appropriate ESL placement test score or ENG009.
