Mexican-American Child in the Classroom
Examination of the cultural heritage of the Mexican-American child and its relationship to the formation of the self-concept and processes of identification, and its differences from the Anglo experience. Emphasis on home, cultural, and linguistic factors influencing learning stages, abilities, and behaviors of children, and on learning and teaching styles effective with target population. Prerequisites: None.
