Participation in establishment of policies and objectives for nursing units. Includes planning, departmental coordination and unit activity, staff development, budget preparation, and research. Prerequisites: HSM/MGT122, HSM/MGT125, HSM/MGT222, HSM/MGT226, ACC111, ACC112, BPC100, 15 credits in professional health related courses, and one year experience in the health care field, or permission of instructor.
