Microprocessors
Basic concepts of microprocessors, including major differences with respect to digital computers. Comparisons of different available microprocessors and detailed study of a selected microprocessor. Emphasis on MPU, RAMs(random access memory), ROMs(read-only memory), input/output adapter, communication adapters, instruction set, sample programs and system concepts from design to final configuration. Prerequisites: ELT284.
