Electronics I
A study of direct current (DC) electrical circuits, Ohm's laws, Kirchoff's laws in series, parallel, and series-parallel combinations in theory and practical lab circuits. Effects of meter loading and circuit load on circuits studied and evaluated with appropriate test equipment. Prerequisites or Corequisites: ELT101 or equivalent.

10. Determine current meter and voltage meter loading effects in a circuit. (VII)
11. Describe the characteristics and properties of conductors and insulators. (VIII)
12. Use standard formulas to calculate internal resistance and power transfer for battery power supplies. (IX)
