Methods of Teaching Reading for the Bilingual Teacher Aide
Presents major approaches used to teach reading in the elementary schools. Emphasis on the differences between sight-reading and phonics approaches and on practical experience presenting actual lessons. Conducted in Spanish and English. Prerequisites: (EDU237 and proficiency in Spanish) or permission of instructor.
