Basic Operatory Procedures
Introduction to basic clinical procedures in dentistry. Dental equipment operation, asepsis and sterilization procedures; operator, assistant and patient positioning; basic clinical procedures performed by both assistant and hygienist. Prerequisites: Admission to the Dental Assisting or Dental Hygiene Programs or permission of the instructor.
