Classroom management techniques. Classroom discipline models, student behavior and misbehavior, group dynamics, student self-motivation and learning styles covered. State Board of Education professional teaching standards emphasized. Prerequisites: Formal admission to the undergraduate teacher certification program. Course Notes: EDU253 requires an approved school-based practicum. EDU253 is intended for students in an undergraduate partnership university transfer to a Bachelor of Education. |
