Apply knowledge of infection control, first aid techniques, and safety in the clinical setting. (I) |

Use specialized phlebotomy equipment. (II) |
4. |
Perform proper phlebotomy collection techniques on routine and non-routine patients. (III) |

Use proper specimen collection and handling techniques on routine and unusual or inadequate samples. (IV) |

Apply special procedures in bleeding time testing and blood culture procurement. (V) |

Evaluate specimens for proper information on labels. (VI, VII) |
