Advanced EEG

Comprehensive, advanced study of neurological and neurophysiological medicine. Studies in cerebrovascular and central nervous system lesions, metabolic and infectious disease, trauma and congenital and pediatric disorders. Normal and abnormal pattern review. Case presentations. Board Examination review.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Electroneurodiagnostics Program.

1.         Analyze abnormal EEG recordings with clinical correlates. (I)

2.         Analyze specialized procedures in correlation with abnormal neurological findings. (II)

4.         Recognize and describe special procedures unique to epilepsy and seizure monitoring. (III)

5.         Correctly analyze and present case study findings. (IV)

6.         Ability to satisfactorily complete board exam review testing. (V)
