Techniques, methods, and procedures of teaching swimming and life saving as designed by American Red Cross. Qualified students earn the American Red Cross water safety instructor certification.

5. Describe a variety of competitive water activities and identify and use the training principles and techniques necessary to develop proficiency in these activities.(V)
