Continued observation, assistance and performance of patient care and sonographic duties under moderate supervision. Prerequisites: Admission to Diagnostic
Medical Ultrasound program. |

In a professional manner, adhere to safety, emergency, and
ethical policies and procedures of the ultrasound department and healthcare
agency with moderate assistance, as needed. (I) |

Perform image acquisition and processing including storage
of completed examinations with moderate assistance, as needed. (II) |
3.

Follow patient care protocols before, during, and after
the sonographic examination with moderate
assistance, as needed. (III) |
4.

Perform office procedures to include filing, scheduling,
billing, report retrieval, and processing of patient, with moderate
assistance, as needed. (IV) |
5.

Assist the technologist in performing selected sonographic examinations in the clinical setting. (V) |

Under moderate supervision, create diagnostic images. (VI)

7.

Under moderate supervision, utilize appropriate techniques
