Introduction to Echocardiography

Anatomy and physiology of the heart. Normal, abnormal and pathologic states of cardiac anatomy as it relates to diagnostic ultrasound. Demonstration of scanning techniques in echocardiography.

Prerequisites: Admission to Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program.
