for the clinical laboratory technician national certification examinations.
Topics include medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical records
management, appointment scheduling, law and ethics, insurance billing and
coding, medication administration, electrocardiography, patient assessment,
asepsis, clinical procedures, and laboratory techniques and values. Prerequisites: (HCE247 and HCE249), or
(current employment with a minimum of three years experience as a Clinical
Laboratory Technician), or permission of Program Director. |
