Reading and Writing in an English as a Second Language (ESL)/Bilingual Setting
Introduction to English as a Second Language (ESL) terminology, second language acquisition theories and reading terminology. Teaching techniques, strategies, and learning activities as well as reading comprehension skills and writing skills covered. Prerequisites: EDU225 and must hold a provisional or standard elementary, secondary or special education teaching certificate.
