Sequential development of simultaneous interpreting skills from American Sign Language (ASL) to English. Source language analysis and target language equivalents emphasized. Analysis of texts and contexts of naturally occurring monologues from different genres with increasing length and difficulty, practice of skills, techniques for self and peer evaluations, and application of theoretical models.
