Overview of teaching elementary social studies. Topics
include lesson plans preparation, teaching strategies, assessments, classroom
management techniques and teaching resources. Emphasis on State Board of
Education Professional Teaching Standards. Approved school-based practicum
required. Prerequisites: Baccalaureate Degree and
formal admission to a state approved post-baccalaureate teacher preparation
program. |
