Overview and practical application of teaching methodology for secondary education teachers. Teaching strategies for direct instruction, cooperative learning, problem-based instruction and experiential learning covered. State Board of Education Professional Teaching Standards emphasized. Approved school-based practicum required. Prerequisites: Baccalaureate degree and formal admission to a state approved post-baccalaureate teacher preparation program. |
