Theory and practice of Hip Hop dance. Development of movement quality and performance skills.

Prerequisites: None.

Course Note: DAN115AA may be repeated for a total of two (2) credits.

Utilize the theory of the body's relationship to gravity and the center of gravity used in contemporary dance.( I-IV).

Use basic rhythmic analysis to demonstrate the impact of polyrhythms and syncopation on contemporary dance. (IV)
