Social Studies Techniques and Methods
Overview of teaching elementary social studies. Topics include lesson plans preparation, teaching strategies, assessments, classroom management techniques and teaching resources. Emphasis on Arizona State Board of Education Professional Teaching Standards, includes 15 hours field experience. Prerequisites: Formal admission to a state approved undergraduate teacher preparation program, EDU270, and EDU272.
 
Course Note:Requires fifteen (15) hours of field experience in an elementary or secondary classroom environment.
