MCCCD Official Course Competencies:

FAC115LL   20022-20022 Motors, Controls and Wiring Diagrams Lab
1. Design wiring diagrams to include: dual voltage, across-the-line start, part-wind start, start- stop stations and wire three-phase motors, demonstrating appropriate safety procedures. (I)
2. Using specific systems and components mounted in the control panel, draw a wiring diagram, wire the system, operate the system, and check for proper operation using test meters to prove electrical circuits, demonstrating appropriate safety procedures. (II)
3. Using factory wired systems (without diagrams), interpret wiring and diagram the systems.(III)
4. Determine sources of specific electrical problems demonstrating appropriate safety procedures, including: open circuits, short circuits/incomplete wiring, and determine necessary corrections for the problems. (IV)
5. Wire multi-typed transformers for selected voltages. (V)
