Principles of insulation. Materials and methods of insulation. Insulating straight piping. Application of specific types of insulation. Insulation irregular surfaces. Seal and finish insulated pipe. Prerequisites: Indentured status with the Heat, Frost, and Asbestos Workers Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) or permission of the apprenticeship coordinator.
