Administrative Law
Introduction to basic administrative law concepts including the delegation of powers, due process and equal protection considerations, citizen access to administrative agencies, governmental immunity, rulemaking, adjudication, and judicial review. Emphasis on procedural aspects, including informal and prehearing advocacy, and proceedings before a hearing officer. Prerequisites: LAS110 or TCA102, or permission of department chairperson or program director/coordinator.
