Commercial Air and Water Test and Balance Lab
Demonstration of duct traversing and diffuser air flow measurement techniques. Water flow measurement techniques. Analysis of water side performance, hydronic balancing, and circuit setter adjustment. Chiller cooling tower and pump testing procedures. Heating, packaged units, split units, and heat pump testing procedures. Collection and analysis of air and water performance Prerequisites: (FAC111, FAC205, MAT102) or equivalent, or permission of instructor. Corequisites: FAC235.
