Preparation for CAD based civil drafting using drafting board techniques.
Prerequisites: (CAD105, CAD110, and CAD115) or permission of Instructor.

1. Develop and use an appropriate manual lettering style for civil drafting applications. (I)
2. Use the arm drafting machine to set up and draw lines and boundaries, using included angles, bearings, and azimuths. (II)
3. Use the engineer's scales to draw boundaries, maps, and profiles to appropriate scales. (III)
4. Utilize basic line types and symbols to delineate basic civil maps based on interpretation of various sources. (IV-VI)
5. Utilize topographic data to draw profiles and cross sections. (VII)
