1. Identify the basic safety rules for firearms and describe how they relate to the moral and legal responsibilities of officers. (I)
2. Describe equipment concerns when carrying a concealed weapon. (II)
3. Demonstrate the proper draw of the handgun from various positions of carry. (III)
4. Demonstrate proper loading techniques from a concealed ammunition source. (IV)
5. Demonstrate drawing and firing the handgun while moving. (V)
6. Demonstrate firing positions used to fire from behind cover, using the handgun and the shotgun. (VI)
7. Demonstrate proper low light firing techniques with and without handheld artificial illumination. (VII)
