Organization of and access to information on the Internet. Creation of multimedia, interactive homepages. Ethical issues, including security and privacy on the World Wide Web. Prerequisites: None.

1. Define the terms "Internet" and "World Wide Web." (I, II)
2. Explain in general terms what happens when a user requests to view specific information on the World Wide Web. (I, II)
3. Locate, download, install and use the most current version of the Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator browser. (II, III, IV)
4. Locate and download using tools on the Internet information available only on an overseas server. (III, IV)
5. Add animation to a homepage using commercial homepage construction tools. (III, V, VI)
6. Create a homepage which contains images, links, and lists. (V)
