Introduction to Chinese Art

Explores Chinese philosophy, symbolism, history and religions that underlie the choice of subject matter and life forms in Chinese art. Uses Chinese bamboo brush, ink and rice paper to study Chinese calligraphy and traditional subjects for painting.
