Installing and Sizing Water Supply Piping
Connecting piping to a water main. Plumbing connections to buildings and air and hydrostatic testing of water supply piping. Operation and installation of water heaters. Types, operation and installation of water meters. Installation of water supply systems to given structures. Effects of valves, fittings and piping on water pressure. Calculations of pressure drop and sizing procedures for water supply piping. Prerequisites: (Indentured status with the Arizona Builders Alliance and ABA172) or permission of the apprenticeship coordinator.
