Waste and Vent Systems
Purpose of indirect and special waste systems. Local code requirements and requirements for receptors and backflow preventers. Principles of venting and installation and applications of specific vents. Applications and limitations of combination waste and vent systems. Sizing and layout procedures. Includes a design exercise. Prerequisites: (Indentured status with the Arizona Builders Alliance) and ABA172 or permission of the apprenticeship coordinator.
