Insulation, Gutters and Roof Flashing
Principles of thermal and acoustic insulation, types of installation and installation procedures. Drainage systems design and calculation of downspout, drain and gutter sizes. Weather sealing and use of roof flashing. Fabrication of drainage components and fabrication and installation of flashing components. Prerequisites: (Indentured status with the Arizona Builders Alliance) or permission of the apprenticeship coordinator.
