Properties of Portland Cement, effects of mixing water, aggregates and admixtures on concrete. Air entrained concrete, high temperatures effects, volume changes and quality control testing. Special types of concrete for specific construction requirements. Prerequisites: (Indentured status with the Arizona Concrete Contractors Association and CON202) or permission of the apprenticeship coordinator.
