Socket and Butt Weld Pipe Fabrication
Socket and butt weld piping including materials, fittings and drawings. Use of oxyacetylene torch for cutting plate steel, holes and pipe. Pipe end preparation including length determination, backing rings, clamps, alignment tools and procedures. Determining pipe length and aligning fittings. Prerequisites: (Indentured status with the Arizona Builders Alliance and ABA111) or permission of the apprenticeship coordinator.
