Using CAD for design and documentation as part of the overall manufacturing process. Preparation of basic drawings using the American National Standards Drafting Manual Y14 (ANSI Y14-1975 A1987).

Prerequisites: (CAD105, CAD115, CAD120, and CAD125) or permission of Instructor.

II. Using line conventions and lettering in accordance with ANSI Y14.2-1980 (R1987)

III. Producing multiview and sectional views in accordance with ANSI Y14.3-1980 (R1987)

IV. Producing pictorial drawings in accordance with ANSI Y14.4-1989

V. Dimensioning a drawing in accordance with ANSI Y14,5M- 1982 (R1988)

VI. Generating parts list, data lists, and index lists in accordance with ANSI Y14.34M-1982 (R1988)
