Writing Studio Workshop I: The Prose Poem |

Use several discovery and prewriting techniques to
establish and develop the prose poem. (I) |

Describe and identify the primary elements of the prose
poem. (II) |

Produce a sample of several prose poems. (III) |

Analyze and evaluate the prose poem by fellow students, by
professional writers, and of the student's own. (IV) |

Use several revision techniques to develop and improve the
student's use of own prose poetry. (V) |

Submit a portfolio of poetry that effectively uses the
elements of the prose poem and is in the appropriate manuscript form. (VI) |
