Electrical Test Equipment
Operating characteristics and use of electrical test equipment including ammeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, volt-ohm milliammeter, wattmeter, megohmmeter, frequency meter, power factor meter, continuity tester, voltage tester and recording instruments. Reading and converting scales in testing meters. Polarity and definition of frequency. Prerequisites: (Indentured status with the Arizona Builders Alliance and ABC154) or (permission of the apprenticeship coordinator).

3. Read and convert scales of specific electrical test devices from one scale to another. (I)
4. Describe polarity and its importance to electrical testing equipment. (I)
5. Define frequency as it relates to testing equipment and describe the use of a frequency meter. (II)
