Methods, special systems, supervision, planning, and distribution of patrol. Includes patrol records and reports; communication systems; equipment; purposes, methods, and techniques of patrol; legal and moral responsibilities in the use of firearms. The police officer's responsibility of handling minor offenses; crowd and riot control; mental illness; police relations with the general public and news media. Prerequisites: None.
