1. Use several discovery and prewriting techniques to draft dialogue and monologue in at least two genres. (I, II)
2. Describe the primary elements of and formats for dialogue in literary works. (II)
3. Write samples of monologue and dialogue in at least two genres. (III)
4. Analyze and evaluate written literary dialogue by fellow students, professional writers, and oneself. (IV)
5. Use several revision techniques to develop and improve the student's own literary dialogue. (V)
6. Submit a portfolio of dialogue in the appropriate manuscript form. (VI)
