Macintosh Advanced Desktop Publication
Advanced use of Macintosh microcomputers and commercial software packages to compose and print textual and graphic materials of high quality. Includes review of fundamental desktop techniques and concepts, alternative treatment of copy, use of complex graphics programs, typographical manipulation, color separating, exploration of alternative layout programs, preparation of larger-scale and unusual publications, and additional printing alternatives.
Prerequisites: BPC138AB or permission of Instructor.

1. Prepare material for printing in multiple layout programs. (I)
2. Prepare materials for both gray-scale and color publications. (II)
3. Demonstrate techniques for performing color separations and prepare spote color overlays. (II)

5. Print with multiple text and display fonts not resident in the printer. (III)
